Australian Dollar caught fresh bids in the Asian session today and recovered partial losses from two-week lows. Prevailing risk-off sentiment caused by global growth concerns took gains from the Aussie on Tuesday.
However, the risk sentiment has improved a little amid Washington's rejection of the overnight news that US and China could not progress on trade talks. US has reiterated to extend the round of trade talks.
Right now, the AUD/USD pair is ticking slightly below mid-0.7100 while subdued US Dollar demand amid dovish Fed and partial US govt shutdown is keeping the spot underpinned.
